Biography

Krade is a French artist born in 1992, in Ales.

Grandson of Cevennes factory workers, he always had a look on the drawing and the painting, inspired by the Comics books he devoured. When discovering "le Cri" by Edvard Munch at just 10 years old, he has his first aethetic choc which leads to new horizon in his creative process.

During his adolescence, the world of graffiti imposes itself on him, and extend his creatives possibilities, due to the size of the medium, the wall, and the use of different new technics. In 2013, he is admitted to Montpellier School of Fine Arts, from which he graduated five years later with the congratulations of the jury.

Today, Krade mixes painting, literature, video art and graffiti in his work, making him an unclassifiable artist. A prolific transdisciplinarity that allows him to be present both in the world of contemporary art that of Street art/graffiti, and to develop unlabelled projects. He co-participated to a collective exhibition of contemporary art at the cultural centre of Novi-Sad in Serbia, exhibit his work for different street art festivals everywhere in France, published his first auto-fiction at the end of 2021 and co-realized documentaries. Also, sensitive to the links between art and psychology, he organizes workshops for schools, prisons and educational institutions, in partnership with departments and cultural associations.
